A great party pleaser!
1 roll refrigerated crescent rolls, (8 ounces)
4 Berks All Beef Franks or Grill Franks, parboiled and cut into quarters
1/3 cup shredded Fontina cheese
2 1/2 Tablespoons bacon bits
Preheat the oven to 375. Line 2 baking sheets with foil.
Open the crescent rolls and cut the 8 triangle pieces in half, creating 16 triangles.
Sprinkle a bit of the cheese onto each triangle at the wider end of the triangle. Repeat with the bacon bits.
Put a frank piece onto the wider part of each triangle and roll the triangle creating a covering around the frank pieces. Put the pigs in a blanket onto the baking sheets, 8 per pan. Put the pans in the oven and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and the cheese has melted. Serve warm, with mustard.
