4 Berks All Beef Franks or Grill Franks
1 cheddar cheese stick, cut in half length wise, and then each piece cut in half, or any kind of cheese stick
8 slices bacon
4 hot dog buns
4 squirts of yellow mustard
4 teaspoons jarred relish
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with foil. Place the bacon slices on the pan and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the bacon slices and allow to cool.
Score each frank lengthwise creating a pocket, making sure to leave a 1/2- inch on either side of the franks uncut. Put a cheese stick piece in each frank. Wrap the franks tightly with a 2 slices of bacon each, securing the bacon with toothpicks
Place the franks on the foil lined baking pan and bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the bacon is cooked and the cheese has melted.
Remove the toothpicks and put the franks in the hot dog buns. Garnish each hot dog with mustard and relish.
