The crowd will go wild for these.
1/4 cup sour cream
1 lime, zested and juiced
1 avocado chopped into 1/4-inch pieces
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 Berks all beef franks
16 corn tortilla chips
1/4 cup cilantro leaves
In a small ball combine the sour cream with the lime zest and 1 teaspoon of lime juice, set aside. In another small bowl gently toss together the avocado, remaining lime juice and salt, set aside.
Heat a griddle, non stick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat or prepare an outdoor grill. Cook the franks until heated through and a bit charred on the outside, about 5 minutes. Remove the franks, and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Divide the avocado mixture on to the tortilla chips. Slice the franks into 8 slices each. Place 2 slices of the franks onto each tortilla chip, over the chopped avocado. Drizzle the frank slices with the reserved sour cream mixture. Top each chip with a cilantro leaf.
